Wharfedale Grange, Chic and Glam Winter Wedding. Amy + Tom

It was a freezing cold November morning, the mist was hanging low. But when we arrived at Wharfedale Grange, it was like a warm hug. The lights were all cosy and warm, everything seemed sparkly! Tom wore a velvet dinner jacket and Amy looked like a total queen in a super minimal beautiful gown.

Amy and Tom had written letters to each other and when they were read we both had tears in our eyes. These two were made for each other. It was such an emotional day from that moment on. Some weddings stand out to us as wedding photographers and this was one of them.

Amy and Tom were so present with each other from the minute they saw each other down the aisle, it was an absolute privilege to witness that kind of love. It did feel like a fairytale. We were able to get out and do some portraits in the field opposite Wharfedale Grange and the mist made for some amazing atmosphere, freezing our fingers off but totally worth it.

As we had moved down to Essex to be London wedding photographers, it was lovely coming back up to Yorkshire. There is something so special about a winter wedding, the weather is cold and sometimes rainy but that doesn’t stop the warmth and love from celebrating such a special day.
